Rockstar Releases Max Payne 3 Tech Demo Video

Due to a poorly received movie adaptation and a notoriously delayed sequel, Rock Star’s Max Payne franchise has largely fallen off the radar for many gamers. However, with the forthcoming release of Max Payne 3 Rock Star is looking to do everything they can to hype it up and turn the franchise that introduced us to bullet time into a fan favorite.

Today they’ve released a video showcasing some of the technological improvements featured in the game. This video showcases everything from the fluid animations and innovative bullet time feature to the artificial intelligence and from the looks of it everything seems to be coming along quite nicely.

If you’re not much of a Max Payne fan there are still important things to be taken away from this game. If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know that Grand Theft Auto 5 was recently announced showcasing beautiful visuals. Seeing how both GTA and Max Payne are developed by Rock Star there is a good chance that some of the tech shown in the video (included after the break) will make an appearance in the latest GTA.
